About Paloma Lev
Welcome. I am a certified therapist specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused ACT (TF-ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as an active playwright.
Born in Chile and raised in Sweden as a second-generation immigrant and political refugee, I intimately understand and navigate the ”inbetweenship” of cultures, identities, and belonging. For me, psychology and creative storytelling are deeply interconnected. Whether I am guiding clients through profound personal transformations in the therapy room or developing complex characters for the stage, my core mission remains the same: exploring the inner mechanics of the human psyche, navigating existential friction, and finding growth through vulnerability.
Clinical Practice & Lived Experience
Through my professional practice at Actiontalktherapy, I offer collaborative, accessible care rooted in cultural humility, trauma-informed principles, and real lived experience. Since 2019, my work has focused on supporting neurodivergent individuals and clients navigating complex trauma, PTSD, severe mental health challenges, and suicidal thoughts.
In my Stockholm-based practice, I utilize evidence-based tools from ACT and neuroplasticity to help clients build psychological safety, adapt to their unique needs, empower their personal strengths, and cultivate a meaningful direction in life.
Creative Writing & Playwriting
As a playwright, I translate these deep psychological and existential insights onto the international stage. My theatrical writing explores the raw, vulnerable, and beautifully absurd realities of human coping mechanisms, often blending profound spiritual themes with a sharp sense of dark humor.
My latest play, In Transit, sets a psychological lens on a group of souls in an afterlife transition room before reincarnation—inspired by regression mechanics and the journey of the spirit—and is fully registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. I am also the creator of a custom-designed affirmation card deck utilized globally for personal reflection and spiritual alignment.
